The Niagara Jr. Purple Eagles (NJPE) are home to over 800 youth hockey players. Our travel and house programs are one of the largest in the WNY area.

DWYER ARENA IS CLOSED FOR MAINTENANCE

Dwyer Arena is closed for maintenance until June 24th. Anyone needing access to the arena will need to contact Larry Brzeczowski at 286-8786 for an appointment.

2012/2013 Mite Division Program Outlines (House and Select) Announced

2011/2012 was a critical year for the NJPE Mite Division as the USA Hockey ADM model was officially implemented across the entire division.

Our League and Mite Division leadership is ahead of the curve again and have already evaluated and generated program outlines for 1) the House Mite 8U Red, White, and Blue program AND 2) the Mite Select program. The two outlines are attached to the right.

Sport International Hockey Academy - 2012 Summer Tour

SIHA returns to Dwyer for 2011!

SUMMER CAMP NOTICE:

The Sport International Hockey Academy will be returning to Dwyer Arena
for their annual summer camps, July 16 - 20 & August 27 - 31/2012. SIHA is
entering their 23rd year of hockey instruction, bringing a wealth of
experience to our area. SIHA camps are very popular, offering a 40 hour
program (8:15 AM - 4:15 PM), for ages 6 - 17 yrs (all players grouped by
age and ability). The SIHA program includes; 3 hours of daily on-ice
instruction (player and goalie instruction), daily individualized video
analysis, off-ice conditioning, recreation, off-ice shooting and lectures.
The cost for the 2012 Niagara University SIHA camps will be $270.00
(Discounts Available).

NEW NJPE Concussion Awareness Program

Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center (NFMMC) and UB Orthopedics & Sports Medicine of Niagara have teamed up to provide a comprehensive sports medicine/concussion management program for the Niagara Junior Purple Eagles in 2012. With the increased awareness of concussion injuries, the NJPE Board of Directors has asked us to begin baseline concussion computer testing for NJPE starting January 16, 2012.
