    The Niagara Jr. Purple Eagles (NJPE) are home to over 800 youth hockey players.  Our travel and house programs are one of the largest in the WNY area.

    Niagara Jr Purple Eagles Travel Coaching Applications

    The NJPE Travel Board is accepting applications for the 2012-2013 Travel Season. If you are interested, please complete the application below. 

    Applications must be received by:  

    Squirt & Girls 10U - FEBRUARY 8, 2012
    Pee Wee, Bantam, Midget & Girls 12U, 14U, 16U & 19U  - FEBRUARY 15, 2012

    NEW NJPE Concussion Awareness Program

    Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center (NFMMC) and UB Orthopedics & Sports Medicine of Niagara have teamed up to provide a comprehensive sports medicine/concussion management program for the Niagara Junior Purple Eagles in 2012. With the increased awareness of concussion injuries, the NJPE Board of Directors has asked us to begin baseline concussion computer testing for NJPE starting January 16, 2012.

    NJPE ADM TEAM WINS CROSS ICE CHAMPIONSHIP!

    Over the 2012 MLK Day weekend, the NJPE 2005 ADM Red Group fielded a cross Ice team - the Niagara Redcoats - who WON the Top Gun Cross Ice Championship for their age group in Amherst, NY.  The Niagara Redcoats went undefeated through the tournament, beating the Amherst Selects 4-2 in the championship game.

    Congrats to the players and coaches that participated this past weekend and represented NJPE so well!

    To all,

    Check out the great article at the USA Hockey website (link to the left) about our Girls 17/19U team. Bob Schiffhauer, John Dollendorf and the rest of the girls coaches and managers have done a great job establishing the program for us. They have made it one of the best programs in the area! Nice job guys!
